In collaboration with Group 484, we have developed a project that aims to achieve a deeper, synergetic impact on promoting cultural diversity and enhancing intercultural dialogue, building the capacity of local communities. We will strengthen the “neighborhood hubs” as viable points for promoting intercultural dialogue in six multicultural communities, which are simultaneously receiving migrant populations.
We will develop various programs to promote cultural diversity, such as intercultural tourism programming that represent intercultural heritage and interconnections between ethnic, religious and cultural communities living in the past and present. We will also uplift the experiences of the various marginalized social groups present in these cities, such as people at risk of poverty or people with disabilities, etc.
We will implement the project in three steps:
1) empowering and networking key actors for the development of intercultural dialogue and social cohesion,
2) developing tools for promoting intercultural dialogue as a source of social cohesion and local development; and
3) development of sustainable intercultural dialogue and social cohesion through campaigning, advocacy and strengthening of neighborhood hubs.
The project is implemented with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia.
