Photo report from the conference “MODELLING PUBLIC SPACES IN CULTURE”
Within our collaborative project “Dissonant (co) Spaces” that Jelena Santic Foundation implements with two partners: Lokomotiva – Centre for new Initiatives for Art and Culture from Skopje and Loose Relations from Zagreb, together we organized a conference “Modelling Public Spaces in Culture “. It took place in Skopje, in Kino Kultura, from 12 – 14. October 2017, with participation of more than 40 professionals from various cultural and artistic fields with more than 20 presentations, fruitful discussions and we participated in an amazing “Kitsch tour” through Skopje 2014.
The aim of the event was to offer diverse thematic overview on “the public space” as a physical location that creates social ties and “the public sphere” as the collection of attributes contributing to the formation of public discourse.
